VENICE, CA - Join us as we officially conclude our 7th season with the 2014 Venice Basketball League Awards Ceremony to honor the players and teams that entertained us all summer. This year, 12 teams competed and one, the Brandblack All-Stars, was crowned Champion just a week ago on Venice Beach. We’re going to roll out the red carpet and recognize the people that contributed to the best overall season in VBL history this Friday evening in West Hollywood at the Wax Rabbit. (8623 Melrose Ave. West Hollywood, CA 90069)In partnership with Pay Forward and Swagg Media, the VBL’s CEO Nick Ansom and Commissioner, Mouth Piece, will be on hand to host it’s top performers. Reigning MVP Tristan Wilson, Kwame Alexander and others nominated for awards. The red carpet event begins at 8pm and is expected to draw more than a few surprise pro athletes and celebrities.A video recap of the best moments will be on display throughout the evening. You already know the tables will be spinning with DJ Nick Ansom on the mix with others slated to join him including DJ Kid Fresh.
