The Kids Venice Basketball League: Natural Leaders Camp

at Venice Beach September 4th

Venice Basketball League Semi-Finals Games will follow the kids’ camp.

WHAT: The Kids Venice Basketball League (KVBL): Natural Leaders Camp and Venice Basketball Men’s League (VBL) Semi-Finals Games.

The Venice Basketball League is sponsoring KVBL: Natural Leaders Camp for boys and girls from Greater Los Angeles area, at no cost to the children or their families. The KVBL kids are bussed from various parts of Los Angeles and exposed to yoga, fitness facts, basketball lessons and leadership skills while attending the camp.

Following the kids’ camp, The Venice Basketball League will host its Semi-Finals Games, featuring the League’s premier players and celebrities.

WHEN: Saturday, September 4, 2010

KVBL: Natural Leaders Camp: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

VBL Semi-Finals Games: 1:00 pm – 6:30 pm

Note: Venice Basketball League Champions Finals will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2010

The VBL founded the KVBL in 2007, a non-profit collaborative committed to empowering the under-privileged children of Los Angeles with essential for a healthy life and basketball skills.

“The goal of the Natural Leaders Camps, is for children to learn teamwork through basketball; gain confidence in themselves; cultivate a healthy lifestyle and truly become the “Natural Leaders” of their communities,” said KVBL founders, Jon Nash and Nick Ansom

The boys and girls of the camp are invited to participate in the excitement of the Venice Basketball League tournaments, by playing basketball at half-time on Sunday during the featured league games.
